Delegates from press clubs gathered during annual General Assembly of the European Press Clubs Federation on 19-20 September 2017, in Warsaw.

During the assembly, the federation and individual clubs activities were discussed as well as new joint international projects incl. juvenile cartooning competition coordinated by the Press Club in Jerusalem and the Pavel Sheremet Prize prepared by clubs in Minsk and Warsaw.

Birmingham Press Club was accepted as a new member of the Federation. In addition, it was decided to terminate reciprocity agreement between the Federation and the Dubai Press Club.

Jarosław Włodarczyk from Press Club Polska was elected the new President of the Federation. Next assembly in 2018 will take place in Press Club in Lille, France.
